Zone Purpose

The intent in establishing the Tourism and Resorts Zone

To position Dholera as a high-value destination by curating coastal, cultural and wellness experiences for domestic and international visitors:

  • Resorts and boutique hotels
  • Eco-tourism camps
  • Wellness and Ayurveda retreats
  • Heritage and cultural tourism
  • Adventure & water sports
  • MICE and destination weddings
  • Coastal recreation

To preserve sensitive coastal ecology under CRZ regulations.

To allow supporting retail, F&B and tour operator facilities.

Regulatory Notes

All development must comply with applicable CRZ and environmental clearances. High-density permanent residential, heavy industry and warehousing are not permitted in this zone.

03 · Special Regulations

Coastal & Ecological Setbacks

Built structures must respect the High Tide Line setback and avoid disturbing mangrove or dune ecosystems. Lighting along the coast must be turtle-friendly.
