To reserve land for essential civic infrastructure and ensure equitable access to healthcare, safety, governance and learning across all sectors:
- Hospitals and medical colleges
- Schools and higher education
- Government offices
- Police, fire and emergency services
- Water, power and sewerage utilities
- Religious and community centres
- Crematorium and cemetery
To co-locate complementary public services to reduce travel for citizens.
To ensure barrier-free, universally accessible design across all facilities.
The following use premises will be permitted
- 01Multi-specialty hospital and clinic
- 02Medical college with attached hospital
- 03School, college and skill institute
- 04Government office and court
- 05Police station and fire station
- 06Water treatment / pumping station
- 07Sewerage treatment plant
- 08Electric sub-station
- 09Religious and community building
- 10Crematorium / cemetery / burial ground
Regulatory Notes
Commercial uses are permitted only when ancillary and limited to 10% of built-up area. Heavy industry, warehousing and entertainment uses are prohibited in this zone.
Sensitive Facility Buffers
Hospitals, schools and crematoria require defined buffers from incompatible uses to safeguard quality of service and public sentiment.
