Zone Purpose

The intent in establishing the Logistic Zone

To create a seamless freight ecosystem leveraging Dholera's proximity to ports, DFC and the dedicated freight expressway:

  • Container freight stations (CFS)
  • Inland container depots (ICD)
  • Bonded warehouses
  • Cold chain and reefer storage
  • E-commerce fulfilment centres
  • Trucking terminals & transit hubs
  • Free Trade Warehousing Zones

To ensure 24x7 freight movement without conflict with passenger traffic.

To enable inter-modal transfers between rail, road and proposed port linkages.

  • 04Truck terminal with driver amenities
  • 05Container repair and washing yard
  • 06Fuel station with truck bay
  • 07Customs and bonded office
  • 08Logistics support office
  • 09Workers' dormitory
  • 10Canteen and convenience shop

Regulatory Notes

Manufacturing of goods is not permitted (only storage, sorting, packing and re-labelling). Hazardous cargo storage requires separate clearance from DSIRDA and statutory authorities.

03 · Special Regulations

Truck Movement & Buffer Norms

All plots must internalise truck queuing and parking. No on-street parking of HCVs permitted. Edges abutting non-logistic zones require a planted buffer.
